Startups in Brainport region more successful thanks to set of advantages of local ecosystem
The Province of Noord-Brabant has introduced measures to support companies in its province that are affected by the corona virus.
The basic principle is to prevent companies from going bankrupt and employees being without a job for a long time. First of all, the province together with employers’ organizations, development companies, etc. closely monitors the impact of the virus and the effects of the corona measures on Brabant's business community. Based on the findings, it will be examined whether additional measures are needed for entrepreneurs in addition to national and European support.
In addition, the province will actively focus on making the employability of employees more sustainable through (re)training. An amount of € 2.5 million will be made available for this as soon as possible. The province is taking an active role in making the existing digital education materials available via a digital education platform. This means that employees who work from/are home now or who will be in the near future, can take advantage of this online offer.
