How do you make your recruitment matter?

On Wednesday December 4th the Skybar of the Microlab on Strijp-S was the stage for an interactive session visited by HR-professionals and internationals in the Brainport Eindhoven region. Innovation in recruitment processes was the central theme during a dynamic afternoon.

Guest speakers were Bram Joosten and Kai Grunewald of innovation companies The Disruptors & NXT Disruptors. The primary takeaways of the evening: make recruitment personal, involve your target group in innovating your recruitment processes, surprise your candidates and make people feel that they matter!

Instead of introducing themselves to the audience, Bram asked the audience what they would like to know about him and his partner Kai. An approach that typifies their way of working: looking at existing processes or manners from a totally different perspective. That is also their reason for founding Disruptors: a profound drive to radically change organizations as we know it today. During the session participants experienced Disruptor’s way of working during two activities based on Design Thinking and the experience realms model of Pine and Gilmore.

Theme meetings Talent Attraction & Retention
The theme meeting Make Recruitment Matter was organised by the Brainport Talent Attraction Program and Holland Expat Center South. Both organisations work on attracting and retaining international talent for the Brainport Eindhoven region.
