Governance & Board

These directors, all of whom come from the business world, bring with them a wealth of knowledge, experience, and valuable networks. They greatly strengthen the fund's effectiveness and are indispensable for the next phase, in which we will scale up the number of participating companies.

The board of the Brainport Partnerfonds consists of:

Independent chairman of the foundation board Rob Janssen explains:

Governance Partnerfonds

The Brainport Partnerfonds is managed by an independent foundation: Stichting Bestuur Brainport Partnerfonds (Brainport Partnerfonds Management Foundation). The foundation's board consists of representatives from participating companies (the 'private partners') and forms the management of the Brainport Partnerfonds. As such, the board manages the funds and ensures the correct distribution and disbursement of the money across the four themes. The board also reports annually to the participating companies on the fund and the money spent. The foundation board is supported in its tasks by the fund management, which is carried out by Brainport Development. The participating companies are charged a fee of 3.2% of their contribution for fund management. See the image on the left for a schematic representation.
