Systems engineering
The Dutch high-tech industry ranks amongst the world’s best, but the systems it develops are becoming increasingly complex. Technologies are becoming more closely intertwined, development chains are growing longer, and companies are becoming more dependent on each other’s knowledge and decisions. As a result, it is becoming increasingly important to be able to oversee not just individual components, but the entire system. Systems Engineering helps to link technology, disciplines and user needs together.

NXTGEN Systems Engineering: ready for tomorrow, together
Within NXTGEN Systems Engineering, twenty companies, educational and research institutions are working together on a joint Dutch approach – including the DASE Compass and the EduFramework – to better equip professionals, organisations and educational programmes for the complex high-tech systems of tomorrow.
