Brainport voor Elkaar is an association of employers from the business sector, the voluntary sector, education and government. What unites its members is their desire, as socially responsible employers, to contribute to the overall well-being of the region. Together, we are working to find solutions to social issues in the Brainport region.
What does membership of Brainport voor Elkaar entail?
You commit to the Social Brainport Agenda
As a member, you contribute to the association’s joint agenda. You help shape its direction, contribute your knowledge and experience, and get involved in one or more programme areas.
You become part of a powerful network
You are part of an association of committed employers and partners. Companies, local authorities, civil society organisations and educational institutions come together, share experiences and work together to develop solutions that extend beyond their own organisations.
You’ll gain access to meetings and knowledge-sharing
As a member, you’ll be invited to:
Two Annual General Meetings (AGMs) per year – exclusively for members – where we work together to set the direction for the association and shape the Social Brainport Agenda.
Two themed meetings per year – where we explore current social and societal themes and issues in greater depth.
You contribute to tangible impact
Membership is not merely a symbolic affiliation. We expect commitment. This can take the form of time, knowledge, networking, manpower or a financial contribution. Together, we make our impact visible and tangible in the region.

Membership for businesses
Companies wishing to become members of Brainport voor Elkaar must first join the Brainport Partner Fund. This Partner Fund is a private investment fund established to support the future, balanced growth of the Brainport region. As a member of the Partner Fund, you contribute financially to addressing key social and regional challenges.
How does the collaboration between the Brainport Partner Fund and Brainport voor Elkaar work?
The Brainport Partner Fund was established by Brainport Development. Companies from the Brainport region can participate on a voluntary basis and make a financial contribution. The Partner Fund contributes financially to the Social Brainport Agenda. The programmes run by Brainport voor Elkaar form part of this. Consequently, organisations participating in the Brainport Partner Fund can become members of the Brainport voor Elkaar Association free of charge.
However, this membership is not automatic. An exploratory meeting always takes place beforehand to discuss mutual expectations. Membership is then formalised in a separate agreement.
