Various secondment, recruitment and selection agencies specialise in attracting and employing international tech and IT professionals. This can be done on the basis of temporary hiring (secondment) or by offering a permanent position. Within the Brainport region, you will find large and small companies that can help you with this.
In order to attract international talent to your company, it is of course important to tailor your communication tools to them: an English-language website with job postings helps your potential employee understand what kind of company you have and what they can do for it. This brings you one step closer to recruiting international talent.
To actually be found online by this target group, you can consider online advertising. This allows you to reach a specific target group with, for example, vacancies. You can use search engine optimisation (SEO) or search engine advertising (SEA). Within the region, you will find various agencies that, in addition to SEO and SEA, are also specialised in employment communication.
For tech and IT professionals, there are several (inter)national career fairs that focus specifically on this target group. Career days are also organised by various universities. By participating or being present at these, you will come into contact with potential (inter)national employees in an accessible way. An example of an international career fair where various companies from the region are present together with Brainport Development is the MIT European Career Fair. This takes place every February in Boston.
More and more international students are choosing to study at one of the educational institutions in our region. Many of them continue to work for a company in the region after their studies. Because the shortage on the labour market is growing now and in the future, attracting, retaining and developing internationally talented tech and IT students as well as knowledge workers is important for the future of your company.
