About us
Together with PSV, the Brainport partners and other vitality professionals in the Brainport region, we have combined our knowledge, experience and expertise in the field of vitality. Through both a digital platform and offline activities, we try to activate, inform and encourage as many inhabitants and employees of the Brainport region as possible in adopting a healthier and more vital lifestyle. We do this by working together.
The idea of the vitality programme originated from the unique, pioneering partnership between PSV and the seven companies in the region, being Philips, CSU, ASML, VDL, Jumbo, Royal Swinkels Family Brewers (Bavaria) and Brainport Development, which was signed in 2019. This was the first time that a region instead of a company committed itself to a soccer club as a major sponsor.

Project Manager Innovation and Partnership Manager at CSU
Staying fit, vital and balanced - in a society where you are inundated with things that can cause you stress or tempt you into unhealthy behaviour - is really not that simple! Therefore, I think it is very important to inform people about things you can do differently and to inspire and motivate them to take a closer look at their lifestyle. It is great to be able to spread the knowledge that is available within this Partnership to all the residents of the Brainport region!

I find participating in the Vitality team very interesting and you learn a lot from it. Continuously finding the right balance between all the pillars of the vitality model remains the challenge. This year, my focus is on the Eindhoven Marathon project. With an energetic drive and together with the team members we are trying to make the difference in this Brainport region in the field of vitality.

I have been involved in this initiative from the beginning, from idea to realisation and further development. At the moment, we are mainly busy setting up a buddy system for vitality purposes.

I am naturally very sporty; I play football, indoor football and tennis for a long time. Exercise is my outlet. Covid-19 stopped this and I started to cycle, mountain bike and run, which keeps me in balance. I think it is cool to keep others in balance with this initiative of the Brainport Partners.
