In the manufacturing industry, developments around digitisation and Artificial Intelligence are following at lightning speed. AI-driven technologies such as automated production lines, robots and cobots and advanced data analysis can increase efficiency and quality, reduce costs and combat labour shortages. But what can AI do for your business?

During the roundtable session ‘AI applications in the (high-tech) manufacturing industry’ on Thursday afternoon 31 October, organised by the AI-Matters consortium, consisting of Brainport Industries, TNO and TU/e, we will discuss with manufacturing companies their challenges and needs and the role AI can play in this. We then link AI technology providers (focused on the manufacturing industry) and system integrators to these challenges. They are therefore explicitly invited to register for this session.

In small groups of up to eight people, we will address various themes in three rounds, such as automation of production and quality control, the use of cobots and robots, factory planning, circularity and data-driven production. In doing so, we want to pick up the needs of the manufacturing industry and match them with technology providers and system integrators. AI-Matters offers these parties the opportunity to make use of test and experimentation facilities, allowing them to test the application of AI without having to make large investments immediately.
 
Based on a pre-completed questionnaire in which you can indicate your preferred topics, we will arrange a table. After the round tables, some inspiring use cases of the application of AI will be presented and the afternoon will end with networking drinks.
