In 2023, the valorization program 'Einstein Telescope for business' was launched with the aim to stimulate innovation and accelerate development of new technologies for the Einstein Telescope (ET). On Monday July 1, 2024, there will be an event full of updates regarding the program, inspiring lectures and a site visit for businesses, knowledge institutions and stakeholders. Will you be there?
What to expect?
✔ Anna Gimbrerère, theoretical physicist, science journalist and presenter will guide us through a day filled with highlights. We look back but most of all we look forward.
✔ Pieter-Paul Lerou, managing director of DEMCON kryoz, will share where the consortium around the technology domain of vibration-free cooling stands.
✔ Gideon Koekoek, associate professor of theoretical physics at Maastricht University will give a compact lecture on gravitational waves.
✔ The department of Gravitational Waves and Fundamental Physics will share insights about the ET Pathfinder, the prototype of the Einstein Telescope housed at Maastricht University.
✔ A visit to this unique R&D lab is part of the program.
And off course you will have ample opportunity to meet entrepreneurs, scientists, politicians and shareholders involved in this exciting project.
