At this special event - with 2,000 participants and 50,000 visitors - robot teams from all over the world play football against each other. No fewer than 5 teams from our region are participating: the multiple world champion Tech United (TU/e), RobotSports (VDL), Falcons (ASML), RIF and RoboHub (Fontys). The aim of the RoboCup is to stimulate the development of robotics and artificial intelligence.
In addition, there are also competitions for care robots, safety robots for disaster situations and logistics robots. And there is a real junior category with up to 1000 young participants and room for all kinds of fun workshops.
