Theatre lecture - saturday 4th of February De Schalm VELDHOVEN
1. Brainpower ‘The story of Hip Hop’
In this special theater lecture, legendary bilingual Dutch Artist/MC/Producer Brainpower (Gertjan Mulder) tells the story of the evolution of Hip Hop Culture.

2. A selection of Peter Otten's photographic collection
A selection of Peter Otten's photographic collection (Peter Otten (1941-2018) lived in Deurne since 1968 and worked as a biology teacher in Helmond.)
Photographer/ biology teacher Peter Otten was a nature lover and his passion for birds became visible in his black and white photographs which he made in the 70s and 80s. He developed and printed them himself, in 30x40 cm format. During daytime and nightime, Peter could be found with binoculars, photographic equipment and a shelter tent in Deurne and the surrounding area: the Peel, the Zandbos, de Rips, Griendtsveen and Helenaveen.

The Quartet pays tribute to the legendary saxophone player John Coltrane and his music. Coltrane was one of the most infuential saxophonists of all time. In this dazzling tribute, they bring a contemporary interpretation of a repertoire rightly labeled as a true classic.

4. Het Diner - Ons Eygen Land
DUTCH ONLY | There is some tension at the table during The Dinner. Adults of Ons Eygen Landt are back with an exciting literary play. They are playing The Dinner, by Kees Prins, based on Herman Koch's well-known book with the same name.

Kids - wednessday 22nd of February in het Evoluon EINDHOVEN
7. Kidsday in the Evoluon, with Stine Jensen and Bart Meijer
Children's book writer and philosopher Stine Jensen and Klokhuis presenter Bart Meijer are coming to the Children's Day on Feb. 22 at 11 a.m. in the futuristic Evoluon to talk about "thinking about the future and dreaming’’.
Jensen will present her new book ‘’Alles is dromen, dromen is alles’ during this day. Guided by adults with a ticket to RetroFuture, children can participate in the scavenger hunt. They can build their own city of the future with kapla blocks and lego. And make a spaceship with shadow or try one of the retro games. Will you talk, play and dream with us?
