How to promote technology at primary and secondary schools?

There are several ways to promote technology at the various educational institutes in the region. For example, you can organize a company visit for pupils and give them a tour around the premises or you can organize guest lectures and challenges for primary and secondary schools.

How important is it to promote technology at schools?

Children who already know about the regional industry at an early age, are more likely to join (or continue to work in) that industry. Moreover, it is of paramount importance to students that your company is cooperating with the schools in the region. By allowing them to work on real-life problems encountered in your field of expertise, they feel more motivated to come up with solutions than when trying to answer a hypothetical question in class. By actively cooperating with schools, you can already teach students about technology at an early age. That really makes the difference. No matter how large or small your company, many schools are looking for ways to cooperate with the industry. Interested? Read more about the various options to cooperate with schools or contact Brainport Development.
