Unused labour potential in the Brainport regio is arount 33,000 people, according to the latest surveys. And yet many employers are eager for people. Are you too? It can be done differently! Research shows that a large part of the unused labour potential is perfectly capable and willing to work, but excludes itself from the labour market. Prejudices in application procedures, vacancy texts that deter and do not fit the language of jobseekers, recruitment channels that do not reach certain groups of jobseekers..
With Open Hiring, we take a different approach. It is all about whether someone wants to and can work. Letters of application and interviews are a thing of the past. This gives no chance for (pre-)judgements. And people who are often (unconsciously) excluded do. Jobseekers decide for themselves whether they are suitable for the job. And this approach works.
