What is Open Hiring?
With Open Hiring, you get a job without an interview. Companies participating in this do not judge you on your work experience or qualifications. The vacancy tells you exactly what the job entails and what you need to be able to do. Do you think this is something for you? Then you can apply straight away!
How does it work?
Step 1. Check whether the job suits you: read the vacancy carefully and determine whether you can do the job and whether you like.
Step 2. Apply: the vacancy will tell you how and where to apply. This is often done via an easy form with your name, phone number and e-mail address. Whoever registers first gets the chance first!
Step 3. Come to the introduction: many companies organise an introduction or tour. This allows you to see the workplace and ask questions. Are you at the top of the list and still want to get started? Then the next step follows.
Step 4. Discuss terms of employment: you will have a conversation about things like working hours, salary and holidays. Do you agree? Then sign the contract.
Step 5. Get started: you will start your new job and receive guidance during the first weeks. Together with your manager, you will check whether you need extra support.
Step 6. One-moth probationary period: during this time, you and the company can discover whether the job really suits you. If it does not work out, you can separate without any problems.
Step 7. Building your future: after the probationary period, you continue to grow in your new job and work on your future within the company!
