Artificial Intelligence is playing an increasing role in the manufacturing industry. With the help of a growing amount of available data, technical developments are following each other in rapid succession. For example, machine maintenance can be predicted, organizational efficiency can be improved, and operational risks and costs can be minimized. Yet it often proves difficult for companies to explore and implement the possibilities of AI in their own businesses.
In the Technology Update of the innovation program Factory of the Future on Thursday, February 16 from 3 p.m. on the Brainport Industries Campus, we would like to inform you about the latest developments in the field of Artificial Intelligence in the manufacturing industry based on a number of practical application examples. Using real-life cases, Daniel Telgen of CBoost explains how Artificial Intelligence is the driving force behind modern robotization solutions. Ralf Zoetekouw of Datacation will give a presentation on the use of artificial intelligence in complex optimization issues such as the configuration of the optimal warehouse, taking into account the number of forklifts, reach trucks, moles (AGVs), people, docks, speed and mandatory driving routes of vehicles, etc.
We will also discuss the possibilities of getting support for your own AI issues. Wim Renders of Brainport Development, on behalf of the European Digital Innovation Hub and AI Hub Brainport, will elaborate on these opportunities, such as data vouchers and data coaches.
