The 130 million euros granted by the government for the projects in our region comes to the municipality of Eindhoven through decentralization payments and is forwarded by the municipality one-on-one to Regiofonds Brainport BV. This BV is a subsidiary of Brainport Development and is managed by the Brainport Foundation. On September 11, 2018, the city council of Eindhoven approved the continuation of the Rijksmiddelen. The schedule below is for clarification.

Applications for the projects that are part of the Deal Brainport Eindhoven Region are submitted to the Brainport Regional Fund. These projects are, after a technical test, submitted to an independent external advisory committee. They will advise the Brainport foundation on the approval or rejection of the project plans. The diagram below shows the application and decision making of the projects from the Deal Brainport Eindhoven region. This trajectory runs from 2018 to 2021.
