
Sascha Bloemhoff Appointed as New Director of Automotive Campus

Helmond, February 10 – As of February 17, Automotive Campus, the innovation hub for smart and sustainable mobility, has appointed Sascha Bloemhoff as its new Managing Director. With her extensive experience in innovation, sustainability, and ecosystem development, she will play a key role in further advancing the campus as a driver of technological progress and collaboration within the mobility sector.

With a comprehensive career spanning multiple sectors and roles, Sascha brings a combination of leadership, vision, and hands-on experience. As Marketing Director at DSM’s (later Covestro) circular innovation venture Niaga®, she developed strategies for circular material chains and digital infrastructures. As former director of Climex, she led the development of a European carbon trading platform for Rabobank and Tennet.
Sascha’s ability to drive innovation and foster public-private partnerships aligns perfectly with the mission of Automotive Campus. Her experience with transformative projects, such as the establishment of the Jheronimus Academy of Data Science (JADS) and Corporate Sustainability at Volksbank, highlights her versatility and passion for a sustainable future.

Sascha Bloemhoff’s appointment aligns with the development of a new governance and organizational structure for Automotive Campus. The campus owners—Municipality of Helmond, the Province of North Brabant, and Bouwbedrijf van de Ven—are committed to strengthening their collaboration. Her leadership will contribute to this effort and support the campus’s continued evolution into a leading meeting place for industry, research institutes, educational institutions, and government, focusing on smart and sustainable mobility solutions and energy carriers.
