I chose TU/e because it’s one of the top universities in Europe that is located in an important technology hub and has close ties to industry. That gives us unique chances in terms of cutting-edge projects.
For my graduation project, I will work on a membrane reactor that will offer a much increased performance in making ethylene – for instance, for plastic polymers – from natural gas instead of oil. Membrane reactors are not available yet on an industrial scale, and would be beneficial in transitioning away from oil. It is interesting to be able to explore something new that could become really big!
I chose TU/e because it’s one of the top universities in Europe, located in an important technology hub and with close ties to industry. That gives us unique chances in terms of cutting-edge projects. The city of Eindhoven is very international, which really enriches my mindset and perspective. I’d like a career in industry, although I’m not sure yet about which field. I consider myself quite diverse and like to leave doors open.
