Reskilling in Brainport
With the retraining project 'Reskilling in Brainport', motivated retraining candidates are linked to employers looking for technical and/or IT talent. Reskilling, therefore, not only offers opportunities for retraining candidates but also helps companies in the region to fill vacancies. If you, as an employer, invest sufficient time and guidance in retraining candidates, you will get very loyal and motivated employees in return.
Phases of Reskilling in Brainport
The Reskilling in Brainport project trajectory consists of several phases. At all these moments, the retraining candidate is actively supervised. Support for the employer is also possible.
Recruitment
We recruit retraining candidates through campaigns, for example, via www.jouwtechnischekant.nl or www.typisch-it.nl. The affiliated parties also use their networks. In addition to Brainport Development, these are the regional employment centres in Helmond and in Eindhoven and the underlying collaborating partners such as the UWV, Ergon, Senzer, Werkgelegenheidsteam Eindhoven, 04werkt and FNV.
Selection
We organise orientation activities where candidates and employers are introduced to each other. As an employer, you then determine with whom you enter into a retraining trajectory.
Retraining
Together, we look at what is needed for that retraining. Is a course of a few weeks sufficient or is it a full training course? Once it is clear what the training program will look like, we will contact training institutes. Think of Summa College, Ter AA or Fontys.
Getting started
Sometimes during the training and afterwards, the employee will start working at your company.
