How do the job portals work?

Through an automated process, tech and IT vacancies from the region are retrieved every night from Textkernel's Jobfeed*. These vacancies are displayed in the various job portals: on the Dutch/English website and on the International website. The vacancies link to the page where the job is advertised, e.g. the company's own vacancy page. The application therefore always takes place with the company or intermediary behind the vacancy. Vacancies on LinkedIn and via Indeed are not included in the selection. 

Brainport Development bundles these vacancies and promotes them worldwide through online campaigns (Google, Facebook, Instagram, and so on). Your vacancy in the job portal? 

Do you want your vacancy to appear in our job portal?** Make sure it meets the following conditions: 

• Your vacancy is tech- or IT-related. Other functions will not be shown. 
• Your company is located in the Brainport region. Note: Please mention the place of employment in the vacancy text. Otherwise, it will fall outside the selection criteria. 
• The vacancy has its own page with a unique URL. 
• The link to your vacancy is also visible on an overview page, e.g. a list of all vacancies on your website.  
• The vacancy was posted (less than) 26 weeks ago. 
• It is a full-time job (>32 hours) 
• The vacancy must be available in English to show it to international talent. The international job portals only display English-language vacancies from the region. The Dutch job portals show both Dutch and English vacancies.

It may well be that your company's vacancies are already on our job portals. Take a look at our​​​​​​​ Dutch/English job portal and search for your company name to check.

*Jobfeed automatically searches the Internet for vacancies. Found jobs are automatically saved within Jobfeed, deduplicated and categorised by criteria such as profession, education, location and company name. Brainport Development does not directly influence these vacancies and cannot add vacancies manually. 

** It is not a 100% guarantee that Jobfeed from Textkernel will find your vacancies if you meet the above criteria. Your company website's technical set-up also plays a role.
