Signify is strengthening the future of Brainport
Signify has joined Brainport Partnerfonds, thereby joining a group of other leading regional companies that are investing together in the future of the Brainport region. By joining the fund, the global lighting company is underlining its long-standing commitment to the region.
Signify traces its origins back to 1891 in Eindhoven, where the production of electric lighting laid the foundations for what would later become an international technology company. In addition to high-quality LED solutions, Signify also supplies smart, connected lighting systems and data-driven services that contribute to safety, sustainability and well-being. Its global headquarters are still based in Eindhoven.
By joining Brainport Partnerfonds, Signify is explicitly endorsing the triple helix model that sets Brainport apart: the close collaboration between industry, knowledge institutions and government as a driving force for innovation and social progress. Signify is one of the largest patent applicants in the Netherlands and thus plays a prominent role in the region’s innovation landscape. Through Brainport Partnerfonds, Signify is demonstrating its social commitment even more emphatically.
