Rabobank, DLL and Markteffect sign partnership with Partnerfonds Brainport Eindhoven
Eindhoven, September 22, 2022. Financial service providers Rabobank and DLL and market research agency Markteffect are as of today, September 22, official sponsors of the Brainport Partner Fund. With this partnership they go beyond a financial boost; the partners actively contribute to the awareness of companies to feel co-responsible for social regional issues such as money worries, poverty, language deficiencies and unhealthy lifestyles, both in the workplace and in society.
Quote from Carlo van Kemenade, CEO DLL"DLL has been actively involved in regional cooperation to address regional social issues and shape social innovation for several decades. Our participation in the Partner Fund Brainport Eindhoven is therefore a logical next step to further develop and propagate this together with the other partners both in the workplace and in society."
Employers have an important role in early detection of employees' money worries
One of the Partner Fund's intervention programs is 'Money worries in Brainport', which is implemented together with Stichting Impact040. Both Rabobank and DLL have been closely involved in this from the start. 1 in 10 employees in this region experience money worries every month. They are more likely to experience reduced productivity, stress, irritation and less focus at work. At the companies participating in the 'Money worries in Brainport' pilot project, discussing money worries is included in the personnel cycle and managers are trained in identifying and advising employees with money worries.
With the help of these new partners, Partnerfonds Brainport Eindhoven will make extra efforts in the coming year to roll out the 'Money worries in Brainport' program to as many companies in Brainport as possible.
Quote from Rabobank Marc Cootjans, Director cooperative Rabobank "As a cooperative Rabobank we are strongly socially committed and participation in the Partnerfonds Brainport Eindhoven fits this perfectly. We look forward to working with the other partners to contribute to a more inclusive and self-reliant society."
