Toon: the Smart Thermostat
Together with Eneco and Quby, Prodrive Technologies developed 'Toon'.
Within the collaboration as partners, Prodrive developed the hardware component. Toon is a new kind of thermostat, which will make the consumer more aware of their energy consumption and costs. A revoluionary energy display and interactive thermostat.
Due to automation of manufacturing and reducing the manufacturing labour by using smart concepts in design, Prodrive Technologies is able to keep the product costst low and compete against low-wage countries as Asia and therefore Toon is produced in The Netherlands.
