Competitive robots
Getting kids enthusiastic about Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Math by organizing appealing and attractive learning experiences, that’s Team Rembrandts’ vision. This Eindhoven robotics team consists of students from Fontys University of Applied Sciences, Zwijsen College and Heerbeeck College. In April 2019, Team Rembrandts’ robot 4481 beat over 4000 others from all over the world and won the FIRST Robotics Championship world title!
Team Rembrandts has qualified for the For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology (FIRST) Robotics Championship six times since 2012, and has managed to win 20 awards in total. Team Rembrandts keeps developing robots that are at the top of their game globally. FIRST Robotics Competition’s mission is to create a world where science and technology are celebrated and where young people dream of becoming science and technology leaders.
Innovations by robotics enthusiasts like Team Rembrandts are also moving the robotic industry forward. In the near future, smart and affordable mechanical helpers will probably be operational in our homes, healthcare and businesses. Partly because of the continual pushing of the envelope by teams like Team Rembrandts…
“Enthusiasm rises and knowledge and technology is constantly improved, facilitating future advances in the (health) care robot industry.”
