We invite you to a new AI Meet-Up: A fun way to get in touch with the artificial intelligence community and the ecosystem!

In an era where AI is reshaping industries and societies, it is imperative to use its power responsibly to ensure a sustainable future. This AI Meet-up explores the dual role of AI in enabling sustainability: first, by adopting sustainable practices in AI development and deployment, and second, by using AI to address global sustainability challenges. We will present how AI can be developed to be resource-efficient, reducing its environmental impact, and examine innovative applications of AI in promoting sustainability. Join us as we discover the intersection of technology and sustainability, thinking of a future where AI not only thrives but also promotes a healthier planet.

Our Speaker

Dr. Devrim Eskiyerli is currently serving as the Associate Lector of the Research Group Business Innovation at Fontys Venlo University of Applied Sciences. Her research focuses on business model innovation, digital and circular transitions, and AI and sustainability. With a background in innovation and international competitiveness, she has held significant roles in various international organizations. Dr. Eskiyerli has contributed to advancements in business model transitions through notable publications and projects. Her current research includes exploring the costs and benefits of AI and the internationalization of circular business models.
