Join the club for an inclusive region

Brainport for Each Other is an association of employers from the business community, social field, education and government. What unites the members is that, as social employers, they want to contribute to the overall wellbeing of the region. In doing so, they realise that it is all about reciprocity. About giving and taking. For, by and with each other.

That is why we work together on solutions to social issues in the Brainport region. This way, we contribute to an attractive Brainport where all inhabitants can participate. Because we can only remain an economically successful region if we are also socially strong.

What membership brings

By working together in an association on social issues, we make even more impact. Together, we learn faster and get further. As a member, you actively work on the well-being of your employees, and thus on the well-being of the Brainport region. After all, a quarter of all inhabitants work here. This is how we ensure a socially successful region together!

And further:

  • Do you give concrete substance to your CSR policy (ESG, CSRD);
  • Work together with partners within a valuable network;
  • Build on your strong reputation as an organisation, employer and cooperation partner.

Extra benefit for companies: Brainport for Each Other helps in CSRD reporting

From 2025, many companies are required to prepare a sustainability report according to CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive) guidelines. Brainport for Each Other's programmes contribute to the social impact of your company, both internally and externally.

What it means to be a member

You make a difference to our region by:

  • Advancing other members, by using your knowledge and expertise;
  • Working to improve the basic skills and livelihoods of your employees and thus residents in the region. For example with the Financial Fit and DigiTaalfit programmes;
  • Recognises unused talent in the region and offers a job opportunity through the Brainport Employment Plan or the Buddy Werkt programme;
  • Encourages your employees to do voluntary work in the region;
  • Strengthens the social network of residents during events such as the Brainport voor Elkaar dinner and by supporting good causes.

"In our successful region, companies, governments, knowledge institutions and civil society organisations work intensively and constructively together towards a sustainable and healthy future. Yet there are inhabitants who are socially disadvantaged, who do not always feel connected and do not benefit. Our Brainport region should be of and for everyone, because everyone is Brainport. That is what we like to dedicate ourselves to.''

Jennifer van der Leegte, director VDL Groep
