The province of Noord-Brabant aims to bring back large-scale solar industry to the Netherlands. An ecosystem is being developed with new solar technologies. Curious about how we will realise this solar industry and the opportunities for the building industry? Register for the webinar on 9 September.

Development of solar laminates

The Netherlands once led the way in solar technology, but it was China that established a successful solar industry. Approximately three out of every four solar panels in the Netherlands come from China.

The province of Noord-Brabant aims to bring back large-scale solar industry to the Netherlands. An ecosystem is being developed with new solar technologies, including the mass-customised production of perovskite-based flexible PV. The target is to establish a factory with a capacity of 2 GW by the year 2027-2028. Curious about how we will realise this solar industry in the Netherlands?

Register for the webinar and learn more about:

  • The benefits of this approach, discussed with future customers in the building industry, including the needs and opportunities for building companies and their suppliers.
  • How technological developments at organisations such as TNO and initiatives by the province can serve these needs.
  • Presentations and visions from TNO, the Brabantse Ontwikkelings Maatschappij (BOM), Aldowa and Heijmans, followed by a Q&A session with the audience.
