Reliability Symposium 2024

Date: 6th of June 2024
Time: 09:00 - 17:00 hr
Location: AI Innovation Center, HTC 5, 5656 AA Eindhoven

Following the success of the 2021 Reliability Seminar, Holland Innovative is once again organizing an symposium that brings together reliability specialists from across the Netherlands and beyond. This year, the theme focuses on System Reliability and Availability, bridging the gap between new trends in Systems Engineering and Reliability Engineering. There will also be discussions on topics such as Availability and Maintainability. Expect inspiring speakers from knowledge institutes and businesses, sharing both fundamental new concepts and practical case reports.

The symposium will take place on June 6, 2024, at the AI Innovation Center on the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven. In addition to presentations, there will be ample time for discussions and networking; lunch and refreshments are included.

Meet the speakers

Dr. -Ing. Martin Dazer of Universität Stuttgart
Martin Dazer earned his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in mechanical engineering and Dr.-Ing. in reliability engineering from the University of Stuttgart. He served as a Research Assistant and is now the head of the Reliability and Drive Technology Department and the founder of RelTest-Solutions GmbH. He focuses on reliability engineering and life testing, participates in the VDI, and leads the Technical Committee on Reliability Management.

Ir. Bas Dielissen of ASML
Born in 1987, Bas Dielissen lives in Den Bosch with his wife Sammy Jo and two daughters. He enjoys games, barbecuing, and running. He earned his master's degree in Applied Physics from Eindhoven University of Technology in 2011, and holds Six Sigma and Reliability black belts. Bas worked at SoLayTec in the solar equipment manufacturing sector from 2012 to 2017. Since 2017, he has been at ASML in the Reliability department. As a Reliability Architect, he currently leads the EUV Parts Usage cost project, heads the Reliability Database, and oversees the Reliability Growth Analysis competence, guiding over 35 engineers in improving system performance.

Dr. Ir. Durandus Vonck of Lely Industries and Gert Kragten PhD of Gevasol
Durandus Vonck holds a PhD in medical design and technology from the University of Technology in Delft. He works as a RAM-engineer at Lely Industries, focusing on system cost and service design. Gert Kragten earned his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Delft University of Technology. He is a Reliability Engineer at Gevasol, specializing in Design for Reliability and leading reliability projects. Vonck and Kragten will discuss their collaborative efforts in developing a RAM model for dairy farm automation. They aim to demonstrate how reliability engineering can unify various departmental perspectives to enhance decision-making and manage technical risks in new product development.

Ir. Elly van den Bliek of Holland Innovative
Elly is the Competence Lead of the Reliability & RCA team at HI, specializing in reliability and functional safety across diverse industries such as automotive, high-tech, and aerospace. With a strong analytical mindset and a proactive approach, she uses her extensive knowledge to improve product and system reliability, working closely with all levels of management. Elly employs advanced methods to address reliability challenges effectively. Passionate about exploring beyond her professional life, she frequently travels internationally with her two children.

Dr. Eleonora Annigoni of Holland Innovative
Eleonora is a Reliability Specialist at Holland Innovative with six years of experience in solar photovoltaics and module reliability. She earned her PhD in engineering, focusing on solar photovoltaic energy, from EPFL in Switzerland, followed by a year as a post-doctoral researcher. Her background includes two internships at high-tech PV-related companies. Fluent in English, French, and Italian, Eleonora’s professional interests lie in reliability and R&D within the high-tech industry, especially in solar photovoltaics. She is currently taking part in reliability and root cause analysis projects at ASML.
