Social innovation in Brainport
Brainport is at the forefront of technological innovation. These technological applications can also advance social organisations. The same applies vice versa: civil society organisations can inspire employers to give new content to social employership and entrepreneurship. The cooperation is therefore reciprocal. Brainport for Each Other shares successful cases, stimulates cooperation and connects parties.
The right match via the Charity Broker
There are many social initiatives and charities in our region that we care about. We know that sometimes they do not have enough money, resources or people to carry out all their plans. That is why we are working with a Charity Broker and will eventually build a real platform for those initiatives as well. This will allow us to link social initiatives and charities with donors.
Brainport for Each other as an intermediary
As Brainport for Each Other we like to help find the right match between:
- Entrepreneurs, companies, (equity) funds and service clubs who want to make a social contribution, and;
- Charities, social initiatives in need of money or materials.
The Charity Broker identifies social initiatives and funding opportunities in the region as well as possible. Based on this knowledge, we put social initiatives with a funding request in touch with available funds. We also look for great projects for companies and funds that indicate to us that they would like to invest.
That way, more and better matches are made. We also hope to contribute to long-term relationships and a stable way of funding. So that beautiful projects have a stable future.
