How can companies in the region help to retain (international) students?

To attract students and to ensure they stay in the region after they graduate, it is important to allow them to learn more about the companies located in the region at an early stage. Your company can help by entering into a collaboration with one of the many schools. By jointly organizing activities, you will allow talented students to learn more about the opportunities Brainport Eindhoven has to offer after they graduate.

Numerous schools of all levels and for all careers are located in Brainport Eindhoven. Such as SUMMA, St. Lucas, ROC Ter Aa and Helicon (intermediate vocational education), Fontys and Avans (higher vocational education) and the Eindhoven University of Technology, Tilburg University and the Jheronimus Academy of Data Science (scientific education). Their career centers offer students the opportunity to learn more about the companies located in the region. For example, by means of an internship, graduation project, assignment or a postgraduate research project. Are you interested to offer students the opportunity to do an internship at your company? Please contact the school you would like to collaborate with.

Programs aimed at attracting international talent

Jointly with the schools in the region, Brainport Development has developed various activities aimed at attracting and retaining international Tech & IT students. For example, the Career Cafés for students and companies to meet each other in an informal setting. Or the Tech Safari, which allows students to come up close and personal with the big five Tech and IT innovations at High Tech Campus Eindhoven. Both activities were initiated by Brainport Development in cooperation with the Holland Expat Center South and Holland Alumni Network.
