Each episode shares the story of a Brainport startup, revealing the passion and perseverance that fuels their purpose. Join Mike Weerts as he explores the dreams that drive these entrepreneurs, the obstacles they navigate, and the triumphs they achieve. Discover how the Brainport region is instrumental in their journey, providing fertile ground for ideas to flourish.

In this episode, Kaylee Hakkel, COO at MantiSpectra: "Ready for the next-generation spectral sensors? We squeezed a full near-infrared spectrometer in a single chip. We use light to understand the chemical composition of materials.MantiSpectra, a vertically-integrated spin-off of the Eindhoven University of Technology, is bringing to the market these miniaturized spectral sensors. These sensors will be employed directly where needed: on the field by farmers, in the process line on conveyor belts, along the full production chain, at the point-of-care, for recycling."

This series was created in collaboration with The Gate & Brainport Eindhoven, Municipality of Eindhoven and Innovation Origins. Videography and interviews by Studio 040.
