Recap of the 4TU Startup Mission to North America

The recent 4TU startup mission to Boston and Toronto was a resounding success, laying the groundwork for valuable international collaboration. Organized by the 4TU.Federation, this mission brought together a diverse group of Dutch innovators to share knowledge, expand networks, and exchange innovative ideas.

 

A powerful connection

Margriet Vonno, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Canada, emphasized the importance of connection and knowledge sharing during the mission. "By working together and exchanging insights, we can create world-changing solutions and accelerate innovation," she said. This message resonated throughout the mission and inspired participants to forge new collaborations.

The role of Dutch Technical Universities

The four technical universities of the Netherlands played a crucial role in this mission. Participants such as Carina Nieuwenweg from Novya Biotech, alumni Azadeh Fazeli Danesh from Thermo Fisher Scientific, and Michiel Vos from Lynxx shared their experiences and highlighted the importance of these international networks for their business growth.
