There comes a moment when an idea has to become a product, and the choices you make in that stretch determine whether anyone will buy it. The theory has its place, but this masterclass is mostly about the practice: how do you start a design process, how do you get from a first insight to an actual design decision, and how do you work out what you should deliberately not build? It all comes down to one question: are you designing something that will actually be bought, or something that is mainly technically beautiful?
