Chipo Precious Mapanda | A world of possibilities
When Chipo moved from South Africa to Brainport Eindhoven in 2022, she was looking forward to a new challenge. What she didn't expect was discover just how much technology is developed in this region. Today, she works at ASML, a company she barely knew before applying, but now sees as an essential part of innovations that make a difference around the world.
Seeing Brainport from the inside
For Chipo, Brainport is much more than a place to work. It's a region where people from all over the world come together to develop technology, share ideas and learn from one another. She describes Brainport as a birthplace of technological development, building on a long history of innovation while continuing to shape the future.
Outside work, Chipo enjoys kickboxing, cooking Zimbabwean dishes with friends and spending time with her church community. Together with the sense of peace and safety she found here, those moments have helped Brainport become a place she now calls home.
