Philips in good company atop Forbes list of best employers

Philips has been rated as the top health care equipment and services company in the world, according to the 2020 Forbes list of the World’s Best Employers. The list, which surveyed roughly 160,000 employees from 58 countries around the world, ranked the Amsterdam-based medtech specialist as number 16 overall, out of a list of 750 companies worldwide. Dutch companies Heineken and Airbus & Defense also cracked the top 100, with the number one overall spot going to South Korea’s Samsung.

“This Forbes ranking is a great recognition of our efforts to strengthen our culture to be more inclusive and diverse, leveraging the full potential, passion and creativity of our employees throughout their careers,” says Daniela Seabrooke, chief HR officer at Philips. “The journey doesn’t stop here, though, and we are busy working on ways to further enable and empower our people at all levels of the organization.”
