Get Set! in Brainport Eindhoven

The Brainport Eindhoven region in the Netherlands has been attracting international talent for years. With top-tier educational institutions, high-quality education, many work opportunities after graduation, and many career opportunities, the region is at the top of the list for those looking to get started in the tech and IT world. And with ‘Get Set,’ we hope to help those living in the region with a fun and smooth integration into the Dutch culture.

New people in the region often find it difficult to get used to Dutch culture and customs. Therefore, within the Brabant International Students project, we developed a fun and interactive solution for those wanting to know more about the Brainport region. Get Set! – a new online game that introduces players to Dutch culture, language and customs through an immersive experience that lets them explore what life is like in Brainport Eindhoven. From daily activities to working, you’ll learn the basics, and practice them to later apply them to real-life experiences.

With challenges that cover topics such as transportation, cultural traditions, and habits like borrel, work etiquette, and life in the region, the players can learn and practice their Dutch and apply it to their real life in the Netherlands and Brainport Eindhoven. The game aims to give internationals a helping hand while navigating life in their new home.
