Join us to find out more about machine learning at the edge, what it is and what it can add to your designs today and in the future.

In 2019 an exceptional number of companies started unveiling their new chips that are tailored for machine learning applications. Using these allow for on-device inference and often result in massive speedups. Applications that require privacy, speed, autonomy and power efficiency greatly benefit from these new inference accelerators. This will drive decision making at the edge.

Machine learning at the edge is gaining traction. Tech companies like Google, Amazon, Nvidia, Intel and ARM all have their solutions and are betting on the technology. Communities have recently started forming around this movement.
Join us to find out more about machine learning at the edge, what it is and what it can add to your designs today and in the future.

This info and demo evening will start with a presentation that introduces the machine learning at the edge ecosystem, new capabilities and entailing possibilities. We will then see some demonstrations of boards that run machine learning models at the edge.

Mehmet is an electrical engineer/physicist and an embedded design engineer focusing on machine learning applications. His recent research focus is in biologically inspired neural networks. His past work includes published papers in statistical physics in genetics, optics and superconducting quantum systems. He is a co-founder of Grus based in High Tech Campus.
