Fujfilm case

Fujifilm diversified its businesses since the decline of sales of photographic film. One of the relatively new fields of application areas is in membrane technology for separation and purification. Established products are suitable for seawater desalination and drinking water purification.

Fujifilm is looking for new application areas in industrial processes with large market potential to develop substantial new turnover. The new business development division in The Netherlands is scouting within the dynamic ecosystem of energy transition. Question in this case is to think creatively of a future application for Fujifilm membrane-technology, propose a business model and its place in the ecosystem in for example Energy storage.
