Santiago is currently a research engineer at the micro and nanoelectronics center of the Instituto Nacional de Tecnologia Industrial in Bahia Blanca, Argentina. He holds a PhD and Electronics Engineer degree from Universidad Nacional del Sur where he is also an assistant Professor.
He’s been part of the engineering team at Max Planck Institute in Germany, working in the design and testing for the SWI instrument of the next European Space Agency mission to Jupiter (JUICE).
His main interests are radiation hardening by design for space electronics, modern communication systems, nanoelectronic devices as well as zero and low power smart sensor networks.
