Justin Engelmann

Hi, I’m Justin from Germany. My technical background might be a bit unusual: I have a Bachelor’s in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University in Oxford, and now I am finishing up my MSc in Business Administration at Humboldt University Berlin. In my MSc, I am focussing on Data Science and Machine Learning as well as Operations Research and Microeconomics.

Once I graduate, I plan to start a PhD programme in Biomedical AI. I also have a bit of internship experience, for instance at an AI tech start-up, and at a management consultancy, where I got to experience both their classic consulting as well as their data science branch. While I have a passion for data science and technology, my interests are quite broad. Thus, I love exchanging ideas with people from different fields and working in interdisciplinary teams. I am very excited to meet the other participants and learn more about the exciting problems that companies in Eindhoven are tackling.
