Abhishek Malik

Hi, I'm Abhishek! I'm passionate about Machine Learning and Data Science.

I am a Data Scientist at Hawk:AI, where I build interactive and explainable AI systems to identify Fraud and Money Laundering in banking data. I enjoy discussing Physics and Astronomy. I recently finished my masters in Astrophysics where I came up with a novel machine learning technique to detect Exoplanets. 

Apart from that, I also enjoy building small applications as side projects. In my last side project, I made a tool for Goethe-Institut that automatically inserts new content on their website by editing the HTML code in a systematic manner. This ensures that the content insertion process, which was done manually in about 50 hours, can now be done in a matter of seconds.

On a different note, I love salsa (both dance and food), playing tennis and drinking beer.
